These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CV Studio Pro (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CV Studio Pro is a web-based tool to create, edit, preview, and export résumés/CVs, available at cvstudiopro.online. Core editing works without creating an account (guest / local mode). You may optionally sign in (including with Google) to sync CVs to your account. Guest CV content is stored locally in your browser unless you use a feature that transmits data (for example optional AI tools, sharing, or account sync).

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Google Sign-In

Creating an account is optional. You may continue as a guest with data stored locally in your browser. If you choose to sign in (including with Google Sign-In via our authentication provider):

  • You authorize Google (or another identity provider we enable) to share basic profile information with us — typically your name, email address, and profile image — so we can create or link your account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
  • Cloud-synced CVs are associated with your user id. You may delete CVs in the product or request account / data deletion by emailing User support at abrahamobando1918@gmail.com.
  • We do not post to Google on your behalf, access your Gmail, or use Google Sign-In for advertising. Sign-In is used only for authentication and optional CV sync.

4. Your content and local storage

You are solely responsible for content you create, import, or upload (“User Content”).

  • Ownership. You retain all rights to your User Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your résumé content to us.
  • Local storage. Drafts typically live in browser storage. Clearing storage, switching browsers/devices, or private browsing may result in permanent loss. Export or back up important CVs yourself.
  • Accuracy. You are responsible for the truthfulness and legality of information you include (employment history, credentials, contact details, photos, etc.).
  • License to operate features. You grant us a limited license to process User Content solely as needed to provide features you request (for example rendering a preview or sending text to an AI API when you click an AI action).

5. Optional AI features

AI features are optional and may use third-party APIs (such as Google Generative AI). By using them, you instruct us to transmit the necessary User Content to that provider.

  • AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You must review and edit before relying on it.
  • Do not use AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
  • We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI suggestions (hiring outcomes, immigration filings, etc.).
  • Availability and quality of AI features may change or be rate-limited.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purposes.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or related infrastructure.
  • Circumvent security, quotas, or access controls.
  • Upload malware or content that harms devices or networks.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a way that violates law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service—including software, design, templates (as software/layout), branding, and documentation—is owned by CV Studio Pro or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

You may use templates to produce your own CV documents for personal or professional job-seeking purposes. You may not resell our templates or Service as a competing product without written permission.

8. Exports, sharing, and third-party tools

PDF/export and share features may create files or URLs that leave your device. Anyone with a shared link or exported file may access the included content. You are responsible for how you distribute that material.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CV STUDIO PRO AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE—INCLUDING LOSS FROM CLEARING BROWSER STORAGE, THIRD-PARTY AI OR SHARING SERVICES, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DEVICE.

WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify CV Studio Pro against claims arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to the Terms or Service

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires a different process.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California shall have jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may still apply and may entitle you to bring proceedings in your local courts.

16. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
